Ashutosh Gowarikar ’s forthcoming film Swades will hit the marquee on December 17, it has been confirmed.
The film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Gayatri Joshi , tells the story of an Indian man at NASA, who comes back home to trace his roots.
There has been some speculation regarding the film’s release date. There were apprehensions that the film might clash (or release in the consecutive week) to other eagerly awaited flicks like Veer Zaara and Black .
But now it has been confirmed that the movie will release on December 17 and not Dec 3 as speculated.
Also releasing on the same day would be the Indianized version of the Hollywood animation ‘The Incredibles’. Incidentally, SRK and his son Aryan has dubbed for the animated characters in this film.
