After playing the bold vamp in Qayamat and the lesbian in Girlfriend , Isha now stars in the desi version of the Hollywood thriller 'Basic Instinct'. Inteqam, which releases today, has Isha playing a rich and beautiful young writer who is on a business visit to India. Her friend Aditya Grewal hosts a party to honor her arrival and in the same party he gets brutally murdered. 
ACP Uday Thakur ( Manoj Bajpai ) gets charge of the murder case. Uday is a hot-blooded officer feared by the underworld but criticized widely for ruthlessly killing criminals in encounters. His prime suspect is Avantika who remains unperturbed though and invites him to an intense mind game that leaves him baffled... leading to a violent and devastating climax revealing the truth about ... 'The Perfect Game... Inteqam'. This musical thriller also stars the hot Nethra Raghuraman besides Sharat Saxena and Sushmita Mukherjee. Inteqam has already been invited for the 'South Asian Foundation', a notable film festival at Tashkent - Uzbeikistan where it will be screened with Russian subtitles. The film is presented by Sahara One Motion Pictures. But the question is will Inteqam do for Isha what 'Basic Instinct' did for Sharon Stone? |
