Vivek Oberoi has consented to act in acclaimed director Shyam Benegal’s next film which will be an intricate story of love, jealousy, betrayal and revenge.
Efforts are afoot to rope in Kareena Kapoor to play Vivek’s heroine in the film, but the actress has not given her consent as yet. She says she has been thinking about Benegal’s offer for last few days but she hasn’t been able to make up her mind.
If Kareena agrees to Benegal’s film, it would be her second film with Vivek after Mani Ratnam ’s Yuva .
A report quotes Shyam Benegal as saying that his film will be “based on love, jealousy, betrayal and revenge.”
If Kareena agrees to her role she will play a smuggler in the film.
Benegal plans to start shooting the movie early next year. A formal announcement of the project will be made after Diwali.
