Three big releases! What to see, What to miss?

There is going to be no less dhamaka on silver screen this Diwali as three big films from Bollywood hit the theatres on Friday.

This Diwali, Bollywood offers something to suit everyone’s palate. Love, patriotism, seduction, thrills and gyrations – all part of this Friday’s package that sees the release of Yash Chopra ’s Veer Zaara , Ram Gopal Varma ’s Naach and Abbas Mastan’s Aitraaz .

Expectations are particularly high from Veer Zaara, that stars Shah Rukh Khan , Preity Zinta , Rani Mukherjee and marks the return of Yash Chopra to direction after seven long years.

In the movie, SRK plays an Indian pilot Veer who comes across a stranded Pakistani girl Zaara (Preity) and gradually the two fall in love. But destiny had something else written for them as Veer spends many years in Pak jails until a Pakistani lawyer Saamiya (Rani) comes to his rescue.

Abbas Mastan’s Aitraaz, on the other hand, is a thriller and a human drama starring Akshay Kumar , Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor .

In the film, Akshay plays a man who is accused of sexual molestation by his female colleague (Priyanka). Akshay denies the charge and has full trust of his wife (Kareena) who fights to clears her husbands name from the demeaning allegations.

But if you happen to have weakness for stylistic musicals, the movie to catch is Ram Gopal Varma’s Naach, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Antara Mali .

Besides these films, Diwali also brings a nostalgic trip for the admirers of classic Hindi movies with the colored version of Mughal-e-Azam.
