Having run out of other options, Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan is hoping to rope in Manisha Koirala for his movie ‘Mumbai Express’.
Kamal has had hard time finding a heroine for his movie that will be directed by Sangeetam Srinivasa Rao. He had earlier approached Madhuri Dixit but was unable to accept the acting fee of one crore plus quoted by the actress.
After that, actress Tabu was considered for the role but she reportedly refused Kamal’s offer and rather chose to do a film with Chiranjeevi. Bipasha Basu too did not show much enthusiasm in ‘Mumbai Express’ and let the offer go by.
But now there is all likelihood that Manisha Koirala will say yes to be Kamal’s heroine in the film, if sources are to be believed.
Manisha has already acted opposite Kamal in Indian and Aalavanthan and her last film in Tamil was Baba , which was a colossal flop.
She is currently in New York losing her extra flab. More details will be available once she returns India.
