SCOOP!! & NEWS Ab Tumhare Hawale Film Faujiyon01st Dec 2004 21.07 IST By Aparajita Ghosh The Indian Army has raised certain objections and wants a few changes in producer-director Anil Sharma’s film Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon . The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan , Akshay Kumar , Bobby Deol , Sandali Sinha and newcomer Divya Khosla was slated to hit the theatres on December 3. 
Any film that is based on Indian Armed forces requires a clearance from the Ministry of Defence before its release. Anil Sharma , who is known for infusing his films with jingoistic, anti-Pak flavor, had given Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon for the army to see on November 22. Since the movie incorporates portions including both the army and navy, a committee of more than a dozen people from the army, navy and the Ministry of Defence reviewed the film. Sadly for Sharma, his film still hasn’t got the clearance as the committee has raised objections to certain scenes and sequences in the film. According to a report, the army has raised 10 to 12 technical points. Amongst them, one includes a particular scene where Bobby Deol is being made to go through a punishment drill. Sharma’s contention is that he is a filmmaker and has right to take certain cinematic liberties. “My film is an entertainer, not a documentary,” argues Sharma.
