On December 1, the World AIDS day, Abhishek Bachchan took time out of his busy schedule to spend time with young kids with AIDS.
On Wednesday, Abhishek visited ‘Aashrya’ the Mumbai-based home for young children with the deadly virus. He was accompanied by actress Dimple Kapadia .
Children of the home gave song and dance performances before Abhi and Dimple and later on the two stars mingled with the children, cracked jokes, danced and played.
Speaking to the reporters in Aashrya, Abhishek said that he felt good to be in the company of these kids who had been preparing for long to give performances.
“We entertain public. But it is good to see that here there are kids who entertain us and look forward to meet us. They are stars for us,” said Abhishek.
Dimple Kapadia said that coming to Aashrya made her realize that stars need to spend more time with these kids.
Later on during the day, the kids of Aashrya were thrilled when fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla presented them with Mc Donalds T-Shirts specially designed for young kids. The kids in return gave them the title of ‘Mc Donald uncle’.
