SCOOP!! & NEWS SRK spearheads Bollywood concert to Hong Kong 03rd Dec 2004  21.20 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   After wooing North America, Europe and South Africa, Bollywood stars are now headed for Hong Kong for the concert that is seen as an important milestone in internationalization of Bollywood. Spearheaded by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan , the concert titled ‘Temptation 2004’ will hit Hong Kong this week. The Southern Chinese enclave has an immigrant South Asian population of about 700,000 who seem to have a strong taste for the fun, passion, fantasy and song n dance of Bollywood genre. Initiated and produced by SRK himself, three-and-a-half hour concert will be a spectacular event with lavish costumes, extravagant sets and epic dance sequences and performances by Bollywood stars such as Preity Zinta , Saif Ali Khan , Zayed Khan , Malaika Arora and former Miss India Celina Jaitely . Shahrukh will perform a good number of songs from his films like Devdaas , Mohabbatein , Main Hoon Na , Chalte Chalte and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge . The Hong Kong concert will be a testing ground for what organizers expect will become an international Bollywood franchise.
