Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta make quite a likeable pair on screen as long as there is no other hero to spoil the broth.
Saif and Preity have so far acted together in three films. Kundan Shah’s Kya Kehna was no more than a flash in the romantic pan of these two good-looking stars who displayed their real chemistry in Karan Johar ’s Kal Ho Na Ho .
But then, in Johar’s movie too there was an aquiline-featured hero spoiling the broth for Saif and who also took most of the credit for making the movie a hit.
Saif’s emergence as a dependable star after the success of Hum Tum has raised producers’ confidence in him. Now the nawab Khan has been signed again by the producers Yash Raj Films for their forthcoming venture that will be directed by the young man who scripted ‘Hum Tum’.
26-year-old Siddharth Raj Anand is ready to dive into the world of movie direction and has the cast of Saif and Preity in his very first venture.
The movie, title still undecided, will be a romantic-comic story set mainly in foreign locations.
The shooting will begin in the first quarter of next year.
