While certain scribes are going gaga over Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh ’s plans to make a film with Amitabh Bachchan , the director says that he is not thinking about that project, but is rather occupied with more immediate ones.
Rituparno is surprised at the hype created by recent media blitz that he is making a film with Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi , Farhan Akhtar and Aishwarya Rai .
He says that he had made an informal announcement of this project months back and media had even reported it. He is amused that the same piece of news broke out again a few days back.
Rituparno says that the Amitabh project that the media is talking about is far ahead in future and is not even on his mind nowadays. He is rather focused on his forthcoming release Raincoat and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Antar Mahal.
“I'm getting ready to release my 'Raincoat' with Ash and Ajay on Dec 24. The film has shaped up better than I expected. And you've to see the calibre of performance by my two actors,” Rituparno is quoted to have said.
“After 'Raincoat', I'll get busy with the release of my Bengali film 'Antar Mahal' with Abhishek Bachchan and Soha Ali Khan that is also complete. So I'm not even thinking about any other project right now,” he concluded.
