Following the success of Dhoom , the makers of the film are now planning a sequel that will most likely star Hrithik Roshan .
Hrithik, who has at present only one film under his belt (a film by father Rakesh Roshan ), has been approached to play a villainous role in Yash Chopra’s Dhoom sequel, to be directed by Aditya Chopra .
The film will star the original Dhoom cast of Abhishek Bachchan , Rimi Sen and Uday Chopra . However, John Abraham has been left out and in his place it is Hrithik who will play the badman in the sequel.
There are also reports that Aishwarya Rai may be signed opposite Hrithik in the film. But there is no confirmation of this.
A source close to Hrithik says that the actor won’t work on any other project until his father’s film is fully shot and released. But it is also likely that an exception might be made in this case.
