We saw John Abraham playing a stylish, bike-riding thief in last year’s hit Dhoom . In his next film Elaan , John again plays a thief, albeit of a different kind.
John is very upbeat about his forthcoming film, Vikram Bhatt-directed Elaan in which he got the chance to act with veteran Mithun Chakraborty .
In the film, John plays a thief named Abhimanyu, a member of the group of five people who have resolved to bring the villain Baba Sikandar to India to face the Indian legal system. Initial reels of the film show John as a prisoner who escapes from captivity to hunt Baba Sikandar.
Mithunda plays Baba Sikandar in the film.
“Working along side Mithunda was a unique experience. For me in particular, and the present generation in general, he is the ultimate epitome in humility and simplicity. He makes you feel completely at home on the sets,” John is quoted to have said about his experience of working with the star of yesteryears.
