SCOOP!! & NEWS Bollywood concert for Tsunami victims18th Jan 2005 19.30 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Many Bollywood stars will perform live in a concert being organized to raise funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster. Being organized jointly by the Film Producers' Guild, the television industry and a number of event management companies, the concert will feature Bollywood celebrities along with a few Pakistani filmstars and musicians. 
Titled HELP, the concert will be held at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra, Mumbai, on February 6, the same day when Sting will perform live in New Delhi. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan , Shah Rukh Khan , Aishwarya Rai , Sanjay Dutt , Akshay Kumar , Saif Ali Khan , Kareena Kapoor , Preity Zinta , Priyanka Chopra , Shilpa Shetty , Fardeen Khan , Arjun Rampal , Lara Dutta , Sameera Reddy , Shahid Kapur , Zayed Khan , Koena Mitra , Mallika Sherawat and Esha Deol will perform live in the concert. Pakistani artists performing in the concert will be actor Moamar Rana (who made his Bollywood debut in Dobara), comedian Omar Sharif, actress Meera , music duo Strings, and singer Rahat Ali Khan. Other Bollywood stars Aamir Khan , Hrithik Roshan , Rani Mukherjee , Anil Kapoor , Sunil Shetty , Abhishek Bachchan , Dia Mirza will be the guests at the concert. Both the guests and the performers will make appeal to the people to contribute towards the PM Relief Fund to help the victims of tsunami. The concert will be telecast live on TV. |
