Hrithik Roshan is in China training for a stunt that hasn’t been tried on Indian screen so far.
In Hrithik’s own words, the rigorous training he took for Lakshya was nothing compared to what he is presently going through in Hong Kong for a special sequence in his Koi Mil Gaya sequel.
For last ten days Hrithik has been training arduously, six hours per day, for an “extremely tough” antic under the guidance of martial arts expert Tony Ching. Tony is the man who has trained actors for movies like ‘House of Flying Daggers’ and ‘Shaolin Soccer’.
The technique Hrithik is training on is called ‘wire-training’ and will show him making a 30 feet leap in the air.
Hrithik says that the character he plays in the scene is very strong, “so he cannot fly, nor levitate, but can only leap”.
Keanu Reeves prepared for a similar ‘leap stunt’ in Matrix for six months. However, Roshan will train only for one month and will return to India before mid February.
“I have a feeling I’ll return a Chinese man by the end of it!” Hrithik joked.
