Versatile Naseeruddin Shah is spearheading the cast of Nagesh Kukunoor’s next movie titled Iqbal.
The movie, being produced by Subhash Ghai’s company Mukta Arts, will also star actor-filmmaker Girish Karnad, Kitu Gidwani and newcomer Shreya Talpade.
But it is Naseer to whom Nagesh Kukunoor seems to have taken a liking. The actor was in Kukunoor’s previous movie 3 Deewarein , and will now play the title role in Iqbal.
The movie went on floors last week and will be shot in a six-week schedule in south India.
