After working almost continuously in Bollywood for last four years Kareena Kapoor is planning a well-deserved three-month break from films.
Kareena will be cooling her heels in coming months to ‘revitalize’ her energy. She has almost completed shooting for Priyadarshan’s new film with Salman Khan and will now be flying to Dubai to perform at the Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA).
Kareena has been nominated in GIFA in the best actress category for her role in the movie Chameli .
When asked what she was planning to do during her three-month sabbatical from Bollywood, Kareena was unsure.
“I haven't really decided what I'm going to do for the next three months. I've never had such a long layoff from work before. I don't know whether I'd get bored after a while... I'm just going to relax, go for a walk, catch up with friends whom I've been ignoring for so long...and spend time with my sister (Karisma) who's going to be a mother in March,” Kareena told an agency.
Kareena added that she is going to take her future career moves with caution.
“After working with the likes of Mani Ratnam, Sudhir Mishra, Govind Nihalani and Dharmesh Darshan, I've to be careful about what I do next,” she said.
