Antonia Bernath , the fair lady of Kisna, is not interested in pursuing a career in Bollywood.
She made her foray into acting in films with Subhash Ghai’s Kisna and she won the praise for her balanced portrayal of a British girl Katherine in the film. But now, Antonia wants to move on.
Although offers have been pouring in from Bollywood, Antonia is not interested. She has set her eyes on Hollywood and English cinema.
She is quoted by IANS as saying: “I am not really interested in pursuing a career out there (Bollywood)…My main aim at the moment is just to keep working, either in Britain or Hollywood. I loved India but didn't train for three years in Bristol with Bollywood in mind.”
As a start, Antonia has already bagged the CBS mini-series ‘Elvis’, in which she will be playing the young Priscilla, wife of singer-guitarist Elvis Presley. The series also stars Jonathan Meyers and Randy Quaid.
Antonia has also been signed up to play the part of Alice in ‘Living Neon Dreams’, which is a modern-day version of Alice in Wonderland.
