SCOOP!! & NEWS Soha in Rang De Basanti03rd Feb 2005 16.55 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Soha Ali Khan will be playing one of the female leads in Rakesh Mehra’s film Rang De Basanti . The official announcement of the movie and its cast was made at a press meet where its leading hero Aamir Khan sported a new look for the character that he will play in the film. 
The movie will star an English actress opposite Aamir, while Soha will be the heroine of another actor who is yet to be signed. Other actors in the movie include Kunal Kapoor , Anupam Kher , Kiron Kher , Om Puri and Atul Kulkarni . Speaking about Rang De Basanti at the press meet, Aamir made it clear that it is not a period film. He said that the movie gives a noble message of how everybody, particularly today’s youth, is responsible for the betterment of our society.
