Bollywood beauty Namrata Shirodkar tied the marital knot with Telugu actor Mahesh Babu on Thursday.
Namrata, who is one of the most underrated actresses in Bollywood, first met Mahesh on the sets of Telugu film Vamsi. The two had been seeing each other since then, but Mahesh’s father Krishna did not approve of their relationship, according to a report.
But on Thursday, Mahesh’s father and mother Vijaya Nirmala gave their blessings to Namrata and Mahesh at a rather private ceremony in a Mumbai hotel where the two lovebirds tied their nuptial knot.
The newly wed couple reportedly flew straight to Switzerland for their Honeymoon.
Namrata’s film Bride and Prejudice premieres today in the US. She plays the role of Aishwarya Rai’s sister in the film.
