Koena Mitra was reportedly fixed for a blind date on Feb 14 by a music channel. She was told that her blind date was a ‘non-controversial and sweet man whom everybody loves’. 
She had guessed it would be either Zayed Khan or Ritesh Deshmukh . But her guess was a bit far-fetched. Koena’s date was a little-known Kunal Vijaykar, who, despite Koena’s initial disappointment, saved the day with his good humor and gentle compliments to the kohl-eyed Bengali belle. “Kunal walked in and smiled his naughty smile, and it just lit up my day,” Koena is quoted as saying about her blind date. Kunal acted decorously, cracked the right humor and by the end of the day he and Koena seemed to have clicked. “I hate discos. I’d rather lounge at home, cook a meal and listen to some music,” Koena said, and Kunal almost matched her tone with his quick reply “Ditto for me”. “If I had to take Koena out, it would be to some place where there is good food and great ambience,” he said exactly what Koena wanted hear. Quite a clever lad. Huh! Kunal also made the best of the opportunity and showered Koena with sweet compliments like “You were brilliant in Musafir.
