SCOOP!! & NEWS Meera plans to settle in India?01st Mar 2005 17.20 IST By AKC Bureau with inputs from IANS After facing strong flak back home for her steamy scenes in a Bollywood film, Pakistani actress Meera is considering the option of staying in India, according to Online news agency. Meera is presently based in Mumbai and is shooting for Soni Razdan’s movie Nazar . It is for a kissing scene in this movie with co-star Ashmit Patel that she came under a barrage of strong criticism from the Pakistani culture ministry and certain religious groups there. 
Meera also claimed earlier in February that she was getting threat calls from some groups in Pak. In such a scenario, Meera seemingly does not want to take any chances and is mulling the possibility of living permanently in Mumbai, the report on Online said. The report added that she has borrowed Rs.10 million from a friend in the US and she has used the amount for the car and home in Mumbai.
