SCOOP!! & NEWS Kareena making Shyam Benegal wait07th Mar 2005 13.56 IST By Agencies Kareena Kapoor may not have had a hit film in some time, but that does not prevent her from making National Award-winning filmmaker Shyam Benegal wait. Reports are that Benegal had decided to make with the junior Kapoor lass, but whenever he calls her for dates, she asks for more time. And this has been going on for almost a year now. 
And Benegal is not impressed. The report has him saying, “I had decided to make a film with Kareena. I can’t reveal anything more. I may or many not make this film now.” Insiders say that Benegal is peeved with Kareena’s unprofessional behaviour. But the Kapoor camp has a different version altogether. Kareena’s business manager Zahid Khan says she hasn’t signed the film yet but talks with Benegal are still on. Benegal wanted to shoot the film in three schedules and wasn’t willing to compromise on dates, he adds. Meanwhile, Kareena has signed a Priyadarshan film with Salman Khan and Suneel Darshan ’s project opposite Akshay Kumar . Kareena’s last release Bewafaa hasn’t met with a good response. If the film flops, it will be Kareena’s twelfth flop film in a row after Aitraaz , Hulchul , Fida , Yuva , Dev , Chameli , Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon , Khushi , Talaash , Jeena Sirf Merre Liye and Mujhse Dosti Karoge . |
