One of the most admired onscreen jodis of Bollywood, Ajay and Ash have acted together in a number of films. The two were last seen in Rituparno Ghosh's Raincoat . And now they are set to come together for one more project. 
Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi has been working on a script for the biopic on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan. Ajay and Ash will play the leading roles in it. According to Bollywood Trade, there have been talks about Ajay not being interested in the project as actor Sunny Deol was also planning a film on the same subject. But such rumors have been rubbished by Ajay's business manager, Kumar Mangat, who reveals that the actor is very enthusiastic about playing the title role in the film. "Ajay is determined to make a success of his role in the film," Mangat is quoted. The film will be shot on a six-month start-to-finish schedule in Jaipur and Jodhpur in August. This year will be a very happening one for Ajay who is looking forward to the release of his films - Main Aisa Hi Hoon (in which he plays a retarded father), Tango Charlie (in which he plays a soldier), Kaal (in which he plays a rustic guy) and Apahran (a movie about kidnappings in Bihar). |
