She played Rani Mukherjee’s sister in Black and now she has been signed to play Salman Khan’s fiancée in Willard Carroll’s movie ‘Marigold’.
Nandana Sen , daughter of Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen, has cemented her own special place in Hindi films. She has shunned stereotypical roles and has been satisfied with doing offbeat and challenging characters.
Coming Friday, Nandana will be seen playing an interesting role opposite Ajay Devgan in Tango Charlie .
And there is more good news for this comely brunette. She will play Salman Khan ’s fiancée in Marigold – An Adventure in India . The film stars American actress Ali Larter in the title role.
In the film, Nandana plays an Indian girl named Jaanvi, a feisty girl who hasn’t lost touch with her Indian roots despite having brought up in Los Angeles.
A report quotes Nandana as speaking about her character in Marigold.
“She's a girl who's very Indian in her values, but has been exposed to a Western outlook. She's quick-witted, and thinks on her feet. She is extremely loyal to the people she loves,” we quote Nandana.
Apart from ‘Marigold’, Nandana is also acting in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘My Wife’s Murder’. She will also be seen in American movies ‘Over the Mountains’ and ‘It's a Mismatch’.
