SCOOP!! & NEWS Aman Verma to play Kareena’s husband31st Mar 2005 19.00 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Despite the disrepute he got after the casting couch episode, actor and television artist Aman Verma is making a slow but steady progress to make his place in tinsel town. Aman, who was last seen in Baghban , has signed director Sunil Darshan’s movie Dosti in which he will play the husband of Kareena Kapoor . 
The film, also starring Akshay Kumar , Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta is a story of complex human relationships and loyalty in marriage. In the movie, Kareena plays a woman married to Aman. But her life turns topsy-turvy with the return of her ex-boyfriend. Aman plays her understanding husband who supports her through the thick and thin of life. Besides Dosti, Aman has also signed another film by Ravi Chopra. Even his television career is on the roll. As for the sting operation by India TV, Aman is not willing to talk much. He has filed a case against the channel in the High Court and is “awaiting justice”. |
