He may not be known as one of the nimblest dancers in Bollywood. But Sanjay Dutt will surprise everyone with his skills in a traditional Bengali dance sequence in the forthcoming movie Parineeta .
Dutt will be seen performing Dhanuchi Nritya in the film. The dance, replete with traditional attire, involves intricate steps and swinging of earthen pots covered with burning coconut shells.
Although not much can be expected of Dutt when it comes to dancing, the dashing star surprised everyone at the shoot of the film when he did dhanuchi nritya with relative ease. The entire shooting crew of 100 plus people was reportedly impressed by Dutt’s grasp over a dance form that is quite alien to him.
A big screen adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's timeless story of the same title, ‘Parineeta’ is a classic tale of love, hate and deceit. The movie revolves around four characters: Girish (Sanjay Dutt), Shekhar ( Saif Ali Khan ), Koel ( Raima Sen ) and Lolita ( Vidya Balan ).
