Bollywood’s Farah Khan has been signed to choreograph the dances in a Chinese musical film.
Farah, who has previously choreographed for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Bombay Dreams’ and Mira Nair’s ‘Monsoon Wedding’ besides other important projects, will adopt a new dancing style for her choreography in the Chinese film ‘Perhaps Love’.
Produced by Hollywood producer Andre Morgan (Million Dollar Baby), ‘Perhaps Love’ will be directed by Peter Chan. The film is believed to be an epic love story spanning almost 30 years and is based around the experiences of a film crew. Chinese actor Andy Lao spearheads the movie’s cast.
Farah was finalized for the movie after Peter Chan saw her choreography in the song Yeh Fizayen from her movie Main Hoon Na .
Farah will be going to China with a 10-member troupe and will be shooting four to five songs for the movie in 10 days.
She will also adopt a different dancing style (other than Bollywood style) for the movie as the Chinese music has a different tempo beat.
