Theirs is the relationship that has stood the test of time. The scandalous liplock, photos of which became public last year, has seemingly only strengthened their bond. 
In a report on Indiafm, Kareena is quoted discussing her relationship with Shahid. Kareena told the site that Shahid is one person with whom she can be herself. There is "no stargiri" between them. With him she feels like "just another girl with her date." She also said that the liplock scandal has only made them fonder of each other. "The incident was traumatic but the bond between us is stronger than ever!" she is quoted. Speaking about her relationship with Shahid in detail, Kareena said while there is loads of love between them, they also fight "like cats and dogs". She recalled a recent incident when they went to Kobez restaurant for a meal and squabbled long enough after she spotted Shahid looking at another girl. "While we were awaiting our meal, a bunch of girls walked in. I thought he was getting a little overfriendly and so flared, 'Why are you looking at that girl?'. He said 'No I wasn't'. But I kept insisting, 'No, you were. I saw you checking out that chick!' And the argument went on and on," she told the site.
