Imagine Shah Rukh Khan playing a ghost who sports a stylish mustache and wears gaudy clothes.
This is the role we will see Shahrukh playing in his forthcoming home production Paheli . In the film, Rani Mukherjee plays a lovelorn woman and Shahrukh plays the ghost who falls in love with her.
At the music launch of Paheli in Mumbai on Tuesday, Shahrukh said that the ghost he plays in the movie is not scary.
“The ghost in the film is very likeable. He is full of emotions and humor,” he said.
When asked what Paheli was about, he said: “It raises a very pertinent question, whether a woman has the right to take major decisions of her life. The movie drives home its point through a very interesting story.”
Directed by Amol Palekar, Paheli stars Juhi Chawla as SRK’s sister-in-law. Sunil Shetty is cast opposite Juhi. One surprise of the film is going to be Amitabh Bachchan who plays a shepherd in it.
