SCOOP!! & NEWS Things falling in place for Priyanka07th May 2005 22.19 IST By Agencies With Waqt – A Race Against Time doing well at the box office and the Rakesh Roshan - directed ‘Krish’ in the pipeline, things finally seem to be falling in place for Priyanka Chopra . Priyanka is obviously elated with the success of ‘Waqt’ and just like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar , the film is very close to her heart, she says.
Priyanka adds that she had cried when she heard the script of ‘Waqt’ but now she is laughing because the film is doing well at the box-office. ‘Waqt’ is the fourth successful film for the pair of Priyanka and Akshay and the former Miss World gives credit for that to luck and destiny, adding that it is rare for a star-pair to have so many successful films together. Priyanka, who has just returned from Manali after a long spell of shooting for ‘Krish’ just can't stop raving about the experience. The shooting for ‘Krish’, she says was like a picnic because all were enjoying themselves while working. Priyanka was also praise for Roshan Senior saying he knows what he wants and from Hrithik Roshan , she says she has learned a few lessons in dedication, focus and hard work. Priyanka plays a free-spirited, outgoing girl in ‘Krish’ At the moment Priyanka has two films ready for release, 'Yakeen' and 'Barsaat'. After that she has said 'yes' to writer Rumi Jaffrey’s maiden directorial venture opposite Salman Khan . Priyanka will also be doing Subhash Ghai 's film to be directed by Satish Kaushik some time during this year.
