Mallika Sherawat is leaving no stone unturned to look her best at the forthcoming Cannes film festival.
Mallika, who is better known as a Bollywood sex bomb, will accompany Jackie Chan for the promotion of their film ‘The Myth’ at Cannes. She will walk the red carpet on 14th May and will get to mingle with other international celebrities present at the fest.
It is learnt that Mallika will wear an outfit designed by Anita Dongre. She will also sport precious diamond and pearl jewellery by Orra. The jewellery is believed to be worth crores of rupees.
Mallika’s outfit has been designed keeping in mind her sexy image and her lissome figure. The attire will have a blend of Indian and western influences.
In an interview last week, Mallika said that she was “honored” to be given the chance to attend the most important film festival in the world.
This year’s Cannes film festival will see the presence of a good number of Indian celebrities. Aishwarya Rai is visiting the fest for the fourth consecutive year. Nandita Das is on the jury panel. Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is flying there for the special screening of Satyajit Ray’s film ‘Pather Panchali’ in the Classic section. And Mallika’s presence will add further color to Indian presence.
