SCOOP!! & NEWS Mallika – the ‘meethi churi’09th May 2005 08.40 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Sex-bomb Mallika Sherawat is all set to make her small screen debut later this month but hold your breath, she won’t be exactly setting the small screen on fire. Mallika plays the role of a smooth-talking Haryanvi con woman in an episode of the serial Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai on the channel Star One to be telecast on May 16.
But you all will be in for a major disappointment if you think that the Bollywood sex-symbol would be setting the small screen on fire, because Mallika will be all covered up for the episode. What’s more, she’s even got a pallu on her head! Mallika’s role is that of a ‘meethi churi’ who takes the Sarabhais for a ride and by the time the Sarabhais realize their folly, she has already vanished into thin air. The episode has Mallika playing a supposedly destitute woman and as soon as she enters the Sarabhai house, she makes everything go topsy-turvy. And by the time the realization dawns upon the Sarabhais that Mallika is not a bechari, she has already polished off a lot of valuables and money before disappearing from the Sarabhai household.
