Vivek Oberoi presently has three comedy films up his sleeve.
In Masti , Vivek displayed his flair for some spine tickling humor and silenced his detractors who claimed that he was an actor with limited repertory.
Excited at the encouraging initial response to his latest release Kaal , Vivek says this year is going to be a “very busy” one for him. He has got five projects in his hands and out of these three are comedies.
“I like fun, frivolity, humor and comedy. Doing such projects rejuvenates me with a new kind of energy,” Vivek told a news channel recently.
Of the three comedies, Vivek is very excited about ‘Home Delivery’ by director Sujoy Ghosh. In Vivek’s words: “Everyone who has read the script of Home Delivery has freaked out.”
Also on the cards is Masti director Indra Kumar’s Pyare Mohan. Vivek calls the film “an absolutely crazy comedy.” He adds that unlike Masti, ‘Pyar Mohan’ won’t have any double meaning jokes and still be very entertaining.
But before beginning to work on these films, Vivek will finish shooting an adventure comedy with Sunny Deol . The movie by Sachin Bajaj is presently on the floors.
Besides these three comedies, Vivek is also doing fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s first film and Kaal director Soham’s second.
