Mahesh Bhatt promises more titillation through films

Filmmaker-scriptwriter Mahesh Bhatt is a practical man who gives the masses what they want to see on the big screen – titillation.

Bhatt minces no words in accepting that he is involved in four films all of which have some form of titillation. The subjects of the films are varied – cyber pornography, dark sides of glamour world, casting couch and more.

Bhatt, who is in New Delhi to promote wife Soni Razdan’s movie Nazar , concedes that even the titles of his four new films have some titillation. The titles are ‘Blue Film’, ‘Show Business’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Actress’.

Of the four, one film that is likely to be made and released this year is ‘Blue Film’, which, Bhatt says, “is about cyber pornography.” “It is the story of a victim who locks horns with the industry,” says the filmmaker who is into scriptwriting nowadays.

‘Blue Film’ is believed to be inspired by a recent sex scandal in which a newly wed couple was filmed making their Honeymoon by the staff of a hotel in Ludhiana. The film will be directed by Mohit Suri who has begun his Bollywood career with a fairly successful directorial debut Zeher .

‘Show Business’, on the other hand, will explore the darker side of the glamour world. The film tells the tale of a talent-hunt winner whose life changes completely after overnight fame.

‘Holiday’ will be directed by Pooja Bhatt .
