But sources close to Akshay claim the contrary. They say that these Bollywood babes at one time or the other used Akshay as a stepping-stone to success. 
How else Akshay agreed to marry Twinkle Khanna in preference to sexier Shilpa or prettier Raveena, they ask? While Akshay looked for a wife to take care of his household, Shilpa and Raveena exploited their proximity to Akshay in building their careers, these sources add. That Raveena isn't doing films anymore post-marriage and Shilpa is still willing to shed her clothes in front of the camera is another matter. But at that time, sources say that they did use Akshay as a stepping-stone to success. Now, Priyanka Chopra seems to be the latest on that list. The former Miss World has paired with Akshay in a number of hits, which resulted in the rumors of their affair. All this has reportedly upset Twinkle to the extent that she keeps a strict watch on Akshay's shooting schedule. Some times she visits shooting places too. That Akshay is a flirt or are the sources correct in their claims only time or Akshay himself can tell. |
