The whole nation and film fraternity stood by Sanjay following the death of his father, a distinguished personality, last week. Now Sanjay is back in Mumbai after immersing Duttsaab’s ashes in Ganga. 
On Wednesday, Sanjay called a press conference in Mumbai to “thank the film fraternity and entire nation” for giving his family the emotional and moral support to deal with the loss of his father. Sanjay said he would try his best in future to live upto the name of his father. “My father has left a huge responsibility on my shoulders. I’ve to think, reflect and move on. I want to make him and my country proud,” Sanju said. Sanju added that his entire family was deeply touched by the honor given by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA leader Sonia Gandhi. “I want to sincerely thank Madam Gandhi and Mr. Prime Minister. They have given a big honor to our family. We are deeply touched,” Dutt said.
