In the Indian version, newcomer Sammir Dattani will play the role enacted by Leonardo DiCaprio in the James Cameron blockbuster. Sammir Dattani is a little known name to many people. His Bollywood debut Uff…Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai came and went without creating a least bit stir at the box-office. 
But folks in the US-based production company, which is venturing to remake ‘Titanic’ in five Indian languages, believe that Dattani has the right mix of youth, vitality, rawness and vivacity to play the male lead in the movie’s Hindi version. Dattani, who calls ‘Titanic’ his favorite American movie, says he always wondered what it would be like to play Leonardo’s role.
