As the title implies, Pyare Mohan will be an out-and-out comedy about two characters Pyare and Mohan, to be played by Vivek and Fardeen Khan .
The inclusion of Fardeen in the film may come as a surprise to those who expected the Masti trio – Vivek, Ritesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani – to repeat their comic act in director Indra Kumar’s next film.
But Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria seem clear about their choice. They insist that Pyare Mohan is not an adult comedy with double-meaning dialogues like Masti, but a healthy entertainer about the romantic antics of two guys.
The film’s heroines have not been finalized as yet. But their names will be announced within the coming weeks.
Pyare Mohan is based on script by Milap Zaveri and Tushar Hiranandani, who had written Masti. The film is likely to go on floors in August this year.
