Rani can’t say “no” to her “good friends” Shahrukh and Aamir Khan . When she was asked by a news daily as to what made her sign Amol Palekar’s film Paheli , Rani said it was just a call by SRK. 
“Shahrukh gave me a call and told me there is a role he would like me to do. I instantly agreed. You see, I can never say no to SRK and Aamir,” Rani is quoted. Rani said the best thing she liked about Paheli was that her character of the village girl Lachchi makes a choice between a ghost who loves her and a husband who is not interested in her. Rani says although Lachchi is a rural woman, she is like “the progressive woman of today.” Rani, who is presently basking in the limelight of the numerous awards she has won this year, said she is thankful to God and her fans for the adulation. Rani’s next film will be Karan Johar’s multistarrer in which she is acting with SRK and the Bachchans. With Aamir, Rani’s next release will be The Rising (Mangal Pandey) .
