The comic timing of Ritesh and Tusshar in Ektaa Kapoor’s Kyaa Kool Hai Hum was impeccable. Ritesh, who earlier this year won the Zee award for best comedian (for Masti ), has particularly become a darling of many who care for laugh riots on celluloid.
It came as a bit of surprise when Indra Kumar (the director of Masti) did not sign Ritesh for his forthcoming movie Pyare Mohan, which stars Vivek Oberoi and Fardeen Khan But the good news now is that Indra Kumar is beginning another project – “a laugh riot,” as he describes it. The movie titled Dhamaal will have Ritesh and Tusshar in the lead roles.
“It will be a comedy without any double entendres,” says Kumar.
He adds that he signed Ritesh and Tusshar after seeing their comic timing in Kyaa Kool Hai Hum.
In fact, the producer of KKHH, Ektaa Kapoor, too is planning to make another comedy with them. And even showman Subhash Ghai has expressed interest in working with Tusshar and Ritesh.
Unlike Indra Kumar’s next movie Pyare Mohan which has only two male leads, Dhamaal will be a multistarrer. It will also star Sanjay Dutt , Aftab Shivdasani and Arshad Warsi . The film will have one actress who is yet to be finalized.
Dhamaal will go on floors in November this year and will be shot over a period of five months.
