The saucy Kaliyon ka chaman girl seems to be digging some substance in her roles besides just cavorting and flaunting her cleavage.
In Meghna Naidu’s words, her role in the forthcoming movie Rain is much different from what she has done so far. “I play a visually impaired girl who lives in a bungalow in a secluded place near a hill station. My character Sandhya Bhatnagar is a struggler who has become a celebrated author,” says Meghna about her role in the movie. Meghna says her character in the movie plays a girl who has a phobia of rain. This phobia comes to the fore with the coming of a journalist, played by actor Himanshu Malik . So, will the movie have hot scenes from Meghna? Meghna says “yes”, but not the ones many would expect. The movie will have an elongated lovemaking scene (between Meghna and Himanshu), a shower scene (in which Meghna’s fears of rain are exposed) and an ultimate rain dance in the end (when she overcomes her phobia of rain). ‘Rain’ is written and directed by filmmaker Amol Shedge. The movie is produced by Vinod Bachchan under the banner Soundrya Productions. Incidentally, Meghna and Himanshu’s first film Jackpot is still waiting to hit the marquee.
