Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are of course playing the lead roles essayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman in the original. Arjun Rampal will play the role of Jasjeet alias JJ played by the legendary Pran , while Kareena Kapoor will play the short but hot role of Kamini, which was portrayed by Helen - the best dancer of Bollywood till date . 
So where does Isha Koppikar fit in? Many have assumed that Isha is paired opposite Arjun or that her role is a new addition in the film, having nothing to do with the original. Well, that is far from the truth. According to sources Isha plays the important role of the girlfriend of the first 'Don' (the role essayed by Aparna Chaudhary in the original) and as those who have seen the Chandra Barot version will remember, she was the first to get suspicious of the duplicate 'Don'. Still can't recall? Remember the girl who emptied the revolver of Zeenat due to jealousy and unknowingly saved the life of Vijay, the second Don? The girl whom Bachchan locked in a room just before the title song. Yes, that's the one. Isha plays that role, the girlfriend of the original Don - to be played by SRK and to be directed by Farhaan Akhtar .
