HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Preity, Salman to shoot in New York10th Aug 2005 21.15 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Preity Zinta and Salman Khan will resume shooting for their film Jaaneman in New York from September 1. The shooting of the movie, starring Salman, Akshay Kumar and Preity, began on July 11. But after just three days of shooting the movie hit a hurdle with the disclosure of the audiotapes that purportedly featured Salman bragging his underworld links. 
The tapes also had Salman allegedly making some unsavory remarks against Preity. It was speculated that after the emergence of these tapes Preity was not likely to work with Salman. But Preity has not altered her decision to do producer Sajid Nadiadwala's movie with Salman. She says the authenticity of the tapes is in question. "I find it rather strange that the tapes surfaced now at a time when Salman is making a genuine effort to put his life together. And the text sounds so staccato, unreal," Preity is quoted by IANS as saying. Preity, who has worked with Salman in many films in the past, says she has not the least problem in working with the actor. The shooting of Jaaneman will now move to NY from September. It is learnt that some romantic sequences and songs will be shot there.
