The audience may have a special reason to look forward to the Independence Day episode of the Amitabh Bachchan hosted gameshow Kaun Banega Crorepati II.
Reports add that Preity and Saif will win Rs 50 lakhs backing out just before they win the sum of Rs.1 crore.
This is a surprise because the Star Plus channel had earlier announced that Abhishek Bachchan and his sister Shweta Nanda would do an episode of the game show on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan on 19th August. But both these Bachchan siblings are unwilling to take the questions, say news reports.
The two stars, Saif and Preity, are brought together for the fourth time after Kal Ho Na Ho , Kya Kehna! and Dil Chahta Hai and now hope to make a grand success of Salaam Namaste made by Yashraj Films.
Salaam Namaste – which is rumoured to be Yash Chopra ’s statement of distancing from his favourite star Shah Rukh Khan – is due for an August release.
