Mallika in Pyaar Ke Side Effects

Hot babe Mallika Sherawat will play a strong, sensuous and independent woman in a romantic comedy.

The movie, titled Pyaar Ke Side Effects, will have Mallika paired with Rahul Bose . The film is a lighthearted comedy without any sexual undertones.

Bose plays a man who is absolutely smitten with Mallika but can’t commit to a life-long relationship with her.

To be made by Pritish Nandy Communications, the movie will mark the directorial debut of Saket Choudhary who worked as an assistant in movies like Asoka and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani .

Mallika’s presence in the film has been confirmed by her business manager. Besides this movie, Mallika is also doing filmmaker Satish Kaushik’s romantic comedy Shaadi Se Pehle.

Rahul Bose says he is looking forward to work with Mallika as his pairing with her is “interesting and unusual”, just like his pairing with Kareena Kapoor in Chameli .

Rangita Nandy, the creative director of PNC, says Mallika was chosen for the role because her image of a “strong, sensuous and capable woman” perfectly suits her character in the film.

The shooting of Pyaar Ke Side Effects is likely to begin in October this year.

Meanwhile, Mallika is readying for the coming Venice and Toronto Film Festivals to promote her international film ‘The Myth’ with Jackie Chan.
