She set the screen on fire with her hot numbers in Darna Mana Hai , Plan and Musafir , but now Sameera Reddy says that she wants to get rid of her sexy image.
She even gave some sizzling kisses and exposed her cleavage to the hilt in Musafir but now Sameera says that she has had enough of this sizzling stuff and would prefer to remain idle at home rather than acting in sexy movies.
But why? Sameera reasons that the viewers are also shifting away from such bold movies. Maybe the failure of recent skin flicks at the box-office has forced Sameera to draw this conclusion.
After all, even the heaving wet bosom of Bipasha Basu and the sexy figure of Priyanka Chopra drenched in water showing every curve could not save Barsaat from falling flat at the box-office.
So what is Sameera doing to shift from the sexy image? Bengali film Kaal Purush, which Sameera bagged after Madhuri Dixit quit it following her pregnancy, had Sameera clad in a sari and blouse, trying to titillate Rahul Bose .
Sameera says that Bangla movies are rated high in quality. "I derive job satisfaction from doing Bangla movies."
Besides, Sameera is also acting in Milan Lutharia's 'Taxi No Do Gyarah' starring John Abraham and Nana Patekar and in 'Benaam' with Ajay Devgan .
Only time will tell whether the audience will accept Sameera in her new non-sexy avtaar or not.
