HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD An accident Riya Sen won’t forget25th Aug 2005 21.10 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Cute kitten Riya Sen was hurt in an accident while shooting for David Dhawan’s movie Shaadi No. 1 in France. The accident happened last month and left Riya with a swollen face and several bruises.
What happened was a scene was being shot in which a couple of French hooligans on their bikes try to impress Riya with their riding skills. The two heroes of the movie, Zayed Khan and Sharman Joshi , were to intervene and protect her. After the scene was shot, there was a particular French rider who was in reality trying to impress Riya with his riding skills. As she was going to see the shot on the monitor, the biker rode towards her on the bike’s rear wheel with the front wheel in the air. Accidentally, he lost control and rammed the bike into Riya who hit the floor. However, before she hit the ground Riya turned her face away and took the blow on her head and back. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where the brain scan results showed no internal injury. She had a swollen face and several bruises on back. The accident was even recorded on tape as a camera was rolling when it happened. And Riya has got a copy of the tape with her. She says the video will remind her of the most horrific accident of her life on a movie set.
