From wife’s murder to extra-marital affair!

First, he was seen committing his wife’s murder, albeit accidentally. Then we see him indulging in an extra-marital affair. And now we would see him playing a lawyer. Suddenly, actor Anil Kapoor has emerged from the shadows.

Three different releases in a month for an actor used to as many releases in a year! But Anil Kapoor is not worried about the almost back-to-back release of his three films – My Wife's Murder , No Entry and the forthcoming Chocolate .

“I don't mind since they're all different from one another,” is Kapoor’s reply.

True indeed. ‘My Wife’s Murder’ had him playing a scruffy-looking, frazzled man who accidentally kills his nagging wife. In ‘No Entry’, however, he resorted to a less violent solution from his suspicious wife (played by Lara Dutta ) by having an extra-marital affair. And in the offing is ‘Chocolate’ that has Kapoor playing a suave lawyer based in London.

Anil says while ‘No Entry’ was like his family film (being produced by brother Boney Kapoor), he was initially reluctant about working with new directors Jijy Philip (My Wife’s Murder) and Vivek Agnihotri (Chocolate).

“I enjoyed working with Vivek and Jijy. I was reluctant to work with them. But their scripts were so different. And I was hungering for new challenges,” Kapoor is quoted as saying by IANS.

Meanwhile, Anil is looking forward to collaborate with Ram Gopal Varma for more films after ‘My Wife’s Murder’ which was jointly produced by the two.
