‘Chocolate’ was supposed to be the debut release of new girl Tanushree Dutta . However, that won’t be the case anymore.
Vivek Agnihotri, the director of Chocolate is angry with Tanushree for having signed another film behind his back in spite of his telling her not to sign any movies until ‘Chocolate’ hits the theatres.
But Tanushree did not heed his request and signed director Aaditya Datt’s Aashiq Banaya Aapne . And now it turns out that Aashiq Banaya Aapne is hitting the theatres before ‘Chocolate’.
Vivek says he wanted to present a particular image of Tanushree in ‘Chocolate’. But the release of Aashiq Banaya Aapne before ‘Chocolate’ would certainly affect the movie’s viewership and audience perception of Tanushree.
Tanushree says she was never bound by any contract with the makers of ‘Chocolate’. She says she can understand the anger of the movie’s director but says she is helpless as the release dates of movies are not in her hands.
Aashiq Banaya Aapne releases on Friday, September 2. The movie has Tanushree pairing with Emraan Hashmi and Sonu Sood .
Incidentally, Emraan also happens to be her co-star in ‘Chocolate’.
