Bollywood comedy No Entry is enjoying good run at the UK box office. In the US, Mangal Pandey The Rising is slowly closing in on one million mark.
Anees Bazmi’s ‘No Entry’ – a story of three men’s extramarital adventure – is holding steady at no. 14 at the UK charts. The film, being screened at 33 theatres, has so far raked in £262,521.
In the US, however, the movie has slide down to 33rd spot in its second weekend, with its cumulative earnings approximating $561,144.
Ketan Mehta’s ‘Mangal Pandey The Rising ’ is at 54th spot in the US. The movie, starring Aamir Khan as the revolutionary Mangal Pandey, is being shown on 25 screens and has made $939,363 so far. In the UK, the movie has made £599,033.
Among the last week’s releases, Ramji Londonwale opened at 24th place in UK charts. The movie made £17,996 in its weekend run. This is below the normally expected earnings of new Bollywood releases in the UK.
Aashiq Banaya Aapne is doing much worse, opening at 33rd place in the UK and making the paltry sum of £4,293.
Barsaat on the other hand, seems to be doing much better in the UK than it has done in India. The movie, in its third weekend, is at 21st position and has made £423,913 in its run so far.
